Our Story

The People's Gold is an herbal apothecary dreamed up by Clinical Herbalist and Artist, Lynn Golan. Based in the lush Northeastern ecosystem, The People's Gold is grounded in the values of community, reciprocity, and healing. Lynn lives and gardens in the eastern woodlands of Western Massachusetts, on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Pocumtuc, Nipmuc, and Wabanaki peoples. Lynn feels most at home bare-footed with hands in the Earth. She has worked on various farms and gardens, learning to steward plants and develop deep relationships. She proudly grows the majority of herbs that she uses in The People's Gold products using no-till, regenerative cultivation practices.
