Medicine Making Workshop Series

Join me in The People’s Gold herb garden for this series of medicine making workshops. Meeting once a week throughout September, you will learn the ins and outs of making potent handcrafted herbal medicine. We will cover topics such as the honorable harvest, energetics and flavors, art of formulation, and  solubility. We will focus on a different topic and herbal preparation each week such as tinctures, oxymels, hydrosols, teas, salves, and infused salts. We are surrounded by medicine and anyone can turn the abundance into amazing herbal remedies for themselves and their community. Come learn how!

When: Friday afternoons in September from 3-6pm. The dates are Sept 8th, 15th, 22nd, and Sept 29.

Where: Conway, MA.

Accessibility information: There is roadside parking at the garden location, unfortunately there is no public transportation there. It is a 2 minute walk to the garden going up a gently sloped meadow. We will be outside the entire time under the share of trees or an ez-up.

Cost: $350 total. Material costs are included in the cost, so you don't have to worry about sourcing alcohol, honey, vinegar, jars, etc. There is one work trade position available. We can also work out a payment plan if needed.

Who: This program is suitable for the budding herbalist who wants to fine tune their medicine making and formulating skills and learn more about harvesting and processing bioregionally cultivated and ethically wildcrafted herbs.
The classes are limited to 6 participates.
